Vh1 Photo Booth

Concept and development of Vh1 Photo Booth, a kiosk application which uses a pressure sensitive tablet display and webcam input. The application will take a snapshot of the user, show it on the tablet display, and record the user's strokes while the user is drawing on his or her own photo. The recording can then be played back anytime and rendered to an image sequence for use in a motion graphic.

The application was used at Vh1's events by various artists and celebrities and also in the Vh1's TV studios' waiting area. Some of the more interesting recordings were integrated into motion graphics and broadcast on air. Graphic design by Futaba Hayashi.

The application can also run in automatic loop, full screen presentation mode and play back the recordings stored in the gallery. This feature is designed for a projector or large screen.

Here are some example recordings that were created with this application.
